Faucets, Flow, And What Is Underneath
A faucet that drips or will not shut off cleanly usually has worn internal parts. Weak flow can come from the aerator, the fixture itself, or the supply side. We check the fixture and the connections feeding it rather than swapping parts blindly.
The cabinet under a sink hides a lot: supply lines, shut-off valves, the trap, and the drain connection. Dampness or staining down there is worth looking at early, because cabinetry absorbs water quietly.
Repair Or New Fixture
Plenty of faucets are worth repairing. Where a fixture is corroded, no longer holding a seal, or you are updating the kitchen or bathroom, installing a new one is the practical path, and we go over that with you first.
If the sink drains slowly rather than leaking, the restriction is often in the trap or the branch drain, which is drain work rather than fixture work.
